The Company
Metro Rod Lancashire is a well-established franchise with over 8 years’ extensive experience in the B2B and B2C drainage and plumbing market. We have built a loyal and dedicated team of highly skilled technical and administrative staff and are keen to grow this to support our vision of providing exceptional customer care and service delivery.
Metro Rod nationally offers 24/7 365 days per week emergency drainage and plumbing services to both commercial and domestic customers and has many blue-chip clients as many public-sector bodies and local authorities.
The Role
We are now actively seeking talented and experienced drainage engineers to join our busy team covering the mid Lancashire area – ranging from North Manchester, through Bury, Bolton and Wigan as far as Blackpool and Clitheroe. If you enjoy variety in your working life – our business is for you. No two days are the same and there is always a wide and varied stream of jobs from a prestigious range of clients.
The Person
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Have excellent technical drainage skills gained in a similar environment;
- Demonstrate experience in CCTV surveying;
- Have used wincan, I-Touch, drain tracing;
- Demonstrate extensive diagnostic and repair experience with the ability to undertake patching and lining;
- Be flexible, hard-working and confident,
- Be committed to exceptional customer service;
- Be able to communicate with people at all levels from clients, to staff across our network and at our Support Centre based in Macclesfield;
- You should be able to work as part of a team as well as being happy to manage your own busy volume of work unsupervised;
- Be willing to work on-call / unsociable hours as part of a rotating schedule.
