Trips to suppliers (farms, vineyards, breweries & distilleries)
You will be a key point of contact for guests in the restaurant and a key figure for guiding and informing the guests experience. A naturally confident and enthusiastic person who will be key in the provision of a friendly and professional level of service. You are expected to take on information you learn in your training, and use this to better understand our product, and thus be able to provide a higher level of service to your guests. Our level of expectation for service is high, and we expect it to be executed in a professional manner.
Food Service Duties:
- Sociable enthusiastic and welcoming approach to table service
- Efficient and effective clearing of tables and restaurant area
Problem Solving:
- Communication with management regarding any staff or guest issues
- Communication between kitchen and dispense bar team and management flagging any potential problems
- Communication between hosts, floor team and management to prevent and mitigate any bookings related issues
Training:
- Full attendance to mandatory training sessions
- Behaviour in training that reflects positively on The Jones Family brand.
- Absorbing training knowledge in away that can be used and passed on to your guests.
Communication:
- Creating a friendly and professional first impression through product knowledge and initiative
- Pleasant and appropriate interaction with customers throughout their experience
- Strong teamwork
- Good communication with the Managers throughout the week and feedback to staff on any changes, special requirements, progress and praises
Organisational Duties:
- Ensuring restaurant is set up for service each morning, at handover and close down – referring to and signing off open, handover and close checklists
- Ensuring high levels of cleanliness in the restaurant at all times
