Security Officer

£10.42 per hour
Average 36 hours per week working, 12 hour shifts on a rolling roster of 3 days on, 6 off (additional cover may be required)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Warehouse & Distribution Security Officer who will work at our client’s premises.
You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.
We require Officers to be SIA licenced – Security Guarding/Door Supervision
Duties as a Security Officer
- Ensure the safety of all staff and visitors on site
- Gatehouse duties including access and egress controls
- Liaise with the Police and other emergency services
- Report/incident writing
- Staff and vehicle searches’ as and when required
- To use sound judgement and good interpersonal skills when dealing with members of the public and on-site personnel
- To support, promote and protect the business needs of the client
- To conform to establishment Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments
- To conform to client processes and protocols
- To participate in other duties commensurate to the role
Job role requirements as a Security Officer
- SIA Licence - Security Guarding/Door Supervision
- Previous experience in the security industry is an advantage
- A full UK Drivers Licence and access to own car preferred
- Be physically fit and patrol effectively by foot
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
- High standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability
