We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to launch our new and exciting competitive socialising venue in Romford. The venue will be offering a range of leisure activities and experiences, including a fully licenced bar and restaurant.
This is a great opportunity to join a leading leisure operator who has some great and rapid expansion plans in 2023 and beyond.
You will have overall responsibility for the delivery and development of all aspects of the Adventure Leisure location and will be expected to be a natural leader. Our most successful General Managers are the ones who put their people first, because they get that their success depends upon having a strong team around them.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Strategic—Ensure that all aspects of the operation are aligned with the overall strategy for the Adventure Leisure division.
· Operational Management— Leading from the front with an approachable can-do attitude who isn't afraid to get stuck in to help across all departments. Continually review and develop standard operating procedures to enhance customer- satisfaction whilst maximising revenue and profitability.
· People Management— Leading the recruitment and delivering consistent induction and training to all employees. Ensure team members are performing to their optimum ability, recognising, and rewarding high and exceptional performance and performance managing under or poor performers.
· Financial controls—Review and analyse performance results and report the metrics. Make prompt corrective actions to address variances, ensuring each operating area is maximising efficiency and profitability.
· Customer Experience— Delivering outstanding customer service consistently to all customers. Monitor all customer service metrics (NPS and Mystery Shopper) analysing trends and producing action plans to continually improve.
· Sales— Results driven (can do attitude) achieving daily/ weekly/ monthly KPI’s. Proactively create, implement, monitor and develop a sales strategy for the identified target markets. Continually seek and promote innovative ways of increasing revenue to maximise profitability.
· F&B— Manage all aspects of F&B efficiently to ensure 100% compliance on food hygiene standards and KPI’s are being achieved.
· Marketing— Liaise with the Marketing team to develop a coordinated sales and marketing strategy for the facility that links to corporate strategy and covers all areas of operations.
· Health and Safety Compliance— Provide a safe and fun experience, while ensuring that our company policies, procedures and guidance are always adhered to. Ensure the Health and Safety procedures are clearly communicated, effectively monitored, and regularly reviewed. Oversee the care and maintenance of all assets, inventory, and resources.
· Problem solving and decision making— Ability to think on your feet and confident pragmatic decision maker.

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year
