Care Assistant - Required at Heartlands Nursing Home, Birmingham B26, Part of the Country Court Family
Hours: Days 38.5 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 0800-2000 1st week 3 shifts, 2nd week 4 shifts)

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Helping our residents with personal support and care

Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
-
Serving meals/drinks and assisted feeding
-
Interacting with our residents on a personal level
-
Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met
ABOUT YOU

Be no stranger to working long shifts

Have good written & verbal communication skills

Able to engage well with the residents and their families

Have an understanding of people with Dementia.

Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
-
Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
