Fixed term contract until 31 August 2025
2x positions available
Background of department/role
Since the University’s foundation, in 1962, chaplaincy has played a central role in the daily life of staff and students providing spiritual guidance and pastoral care for all. We now seek to appoint two Lay Chaplains to assist with and develop this unique ministry. These positions will also include shared administrative responsibility for service materials, publicity and finance.
You will be a recent graduate desiring to explore a vocation to Christian ministry. As a highly motivated, enthusiastic person you will complement the Chaplaincy Team through being able to work collaboratively, non-judgementally and confidently alongside staff and students of all faiths and none. Experience as a worship leader is desirable.
