deliciously ella is a plant-based food & wellness platform sharing delicious ways to feel better. Starting from a recipe website, the business has evolved into a restaurant, a range of plant-based food products, an app, a collection of bestselling recipe books, a podcast, and a growing social media community that sits at the heart of what we do.
Our first product was our energy balls, but we have since launched a line of breakfast cereals, oat bars, nut butter bites, caramel cups, chocolate bars, baked veggie chips, dipped almonds and a range of frozen desserts. We’re in around 6,000 shops in the UK, with lots more distribution to come!
Our office is in central London, at the edge of busy Soho. We work in the office Mon-Wed-Fri, with Tue and Thu optional WFH days.
Key Responsibilities
As the Supply Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring we always have the right stock in the right place at the time time, by planning production and managing relationships with our external manufacturing partners. In this role, you’ll be working with sixmanufacturers and responsible for looking after all of our shorter shelf-life products, including chilled.
You’ll plan production with all of your suppliers for their SKUs weekly, including providing 12-week rolling forecasts on a weekly basis, and 52-week forecasts monthly. You will monitor stock levels and ensure appropriate production plans, stock levels, and movements to support our growing business. This will include monitoring stock at risk of wastage and reporting to the wider team, as well as ensuring effective management of new customer listings, promotions, and stock shortages.
You’ll build positive working relationships with your counterparts at our manufacturers, and ensure excellent service by reviewing existing supplier performance regularly.
You’ll work closely with our Finance team, holding responsibility for PO raising and receipting of goods into our ERP tool, NetSuite; as well as managing other stock transactions, including inventory transfers and adjustments in NetSuite. You will work collaboratively with the Team Finance to resolve any discrepancies and support the logistics team with weekly and periodic stock reconciliation for all logistics partners and inventory queries.
You also will work closely with the Customer Supply team to provide regular updates to the wider team on stock levels, stock shortages, stock wastage/risks, and any other relevant issues. Additionally, you will maintain a consistent and reliable flow of information between the Customer Supply and Commercial team to allow for proactive stock planning and management. You will critically analyze demand forecasts during the planning process to identify and plan for promotions, launches, and seasonality spikes.
Finally, as the Supply Planner, you’ll be critical to the NPD, EPD and delist process. You’ll support in on-boarding new partners when needed; control first and last productions to ensure we have the right stock to supply changing demand; and support timing of packaging refreshes, and implementation of marketing campaigns. You’ll also ensure that all new SKUs are successfully integrated into relevant planning and supply chain tools.
As such, we are looking for a highly analytical and communicative individual with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles. You’ll be a dab hand at keeping lots of plates spinning; an amazing communicator; and have a passion for rolling up your sleeves in a small business where everyone’s input is valued and efforts count.

Key responsibilities
- Own the operational relationship with our Chilled and Frozen manufacturing base
- Forecast and plan production for your SKUs and manufacturers within target, MOQ and forecast, to ensure we have the right stock in the right place at the right time to service customer demand
- Proactively manage our stock against forecast, including communicating & resolving any supply challenges
- Preparing information and reporting weekly and monthly on stock levels
- Build excellent working relationships both internally (within the Supply team and the DE business) and externally (with your manufacturing suppliers)
- Continually review our systems and processes to ensure they’re always efficient and effective, including recommending and implementing changes where needed
- Manage stock within our Finance ERP, NetSuite, including raising POs, receipting and transferring stock, and investigating invoice discrepancies
- Support NPD and EPD delivery, ensuring production is planned in line with launch dates to ensure new products hit shelves on time
Pre-requisites
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; qualifications in Supply Chain or related business administration is preferred
- 2+ years of relevant supply chain planning experience required
- Exceptional attention to detail, with an analytical mindset and outstanding data presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment
- Self-motivated and with excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise effectively to deliver results within established timelines
- You’ll be a values-driven individual with the ability to keep calm while keeping lots of plates spinning!
