Role: Customer Service Advisor - Billing - 6 month role
Location: Luton - hybrid working
Competitive Salary: £23,500
Fantastic Hours: Monday-Friday / 9am-5pm / 30 min lunch break
The task at hand: We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to manage queries via email and telephone, you will understand how to resolve queries to avoid any future billing errors. You will proactively engage with customer processes to ensure any errors are captured and reduce the number of billing queries received. You will work closely with our Credit Control, Sales, Provisioning and Project Delivery teams to deal with customer queries efficiently.

- Be adaptable nd work via your own initiative
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
- Strong systems skills (ability to use the Microsoft packages is a must and exposure to a HRIS system would be beneficial)

What you’ll be busy doing:
- Interact directly with customers by telephone and other communication means to promptly resolve queries
- Update work queues and internal reports
- Resolve errors and queries on customer invoices
- Update own knowledge of product and pricing
- Handle billing escalations
- Support with manging the Billing team inbox
- Ensure incoming calls are answered efficiently, maintaining a friendly and professional manner
- Liaise with other teams involved in the solution of a billing query
- Maintain and contribute towards the improvement of processes and follow through all current company policies and procedures to meet the highest possible standards
- Strive to achieve team and individual targets, whilst also maintaining a focussed awareness of personal and business objectives to optimise the resolution of customer issues within agreed timescales
