Role and Responsibilities
You will be assisting Project Managers in the successful planning, programming, execution, monitoring, controlling and completion of all projects.
You will also be expected to assist Project Managers in day to day on site management of all Caswell employees and our sub-contractors and the health and safety of these employees. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
SITE ACTION
· Attend and assist Project Managers on site Meetings with clients reporting back to office team members detailed information gathered at such meetings so estimates can be prepared, and the correct materials ordered in good time
REVIEW OF WORKS
· Assist organisation of projects; plan and supervise the workforce to execute works in accordance with the project programme.
· Work with the board planner to provide details of labour requirements for forthcoming weeks with as much notice as possible.
· Ensure that each project meets its targets in terms of quality and customer satisfaction. Any issues should be dealt with during the project period and snags must be rectified in a timely manner, to avoid any delays or reductions to final invoicing.
· Manage and monitor the works, liaising with both our own and our clients operational staff to ensure compliance with our client’s specifications and also our agreed company methods/ standards to everyone's' satisfaction.
· Produce O&M manuals and for this you will need to produce relevant detailed As - built drawings and supporting information.
· Check for accuracy and sign off subcontractor invoices or agency workers timesheets.
· Check for accuracy and sign off Material and Hire invoices.
· Familiarise yourself with estimates sent out by our cost team and ensure that all works are completed within these cost limits with regard to labour and materials.
GENERAL
· Maintain records / diaries and actively support the resolution of any construction issues and work with our cost team to provide sufficient detailed information to enable our cost team to then agree final account costs. You may be asked to provide this information in a format set by the cost team.
· Build positive and productive working relationships with our clients; delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
