Partner Account Manager
Our client seeking an entrepreneurial, goal-orientated Partner Account Manager based in the UK (home office based). We are looking for a resourceful and highly motivated self-starter interested in working in a fast-paced and dynamic sales & business development environment. This position plays a key role in planning and executing strategies to maximise business growth and drive team performances within the entire ecosystem partner landscape.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales quotas as determined by management
- Establish and improve a sustainable high-quality base of selected partners working closely with our Distribution Partners.
- Identify, with our Distribution teams, new partnering opportunities.
- Lead enablement initiatives to allow successful growth of partner business
- Understand partner operating models and align value proposition
- Ensure that the partners deliver the agreed contribution to new business and achieving the regional sales targets
- Implement channel sales strategy for the region and drive channel sales to match or exceed assigned objectives, monitor timely delivery of quantitative targets, identify improvement opportunities in the approach and update the strategy accordingly
- Regularly review market alignment, pipelines, key client engagements, and forecasts with the team.
- Work alongside channel partners to build pipeline and close opportunities.
- Maintain a positive, professional ‘customer first’ attitude throughout the team.
- Ensure effective time management practices to properly support organizational activities.
- Understand and communicate organizational challenges and strategies to the team and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in channels management or field sales.
- Experience in datacentre, infrastructure, security, storage and data protection segments within the IT industry
- Highly motivated and willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work credibly at all levels, especially at CXO level
- Possess leadership competencies necessary to motivate teams to attain their goals
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and as a team player
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
