This role involves working in Business Doncaster, the Council's economic development unit to be directly involved in promoting Doncaster as a fantastic place to live and work and specifically to visit and spend quality time.
The postholder will be responsible for creating dynamic and interesting tourism marketing campaigns as well as producing quality social media content that is engaging and appealing to its audiences. The postholder should be experienced in planning and delivering high impact marketing campaigns and evaluating their impact.
The postholder should also be experienced in creative writing and tourism marketing experience would be advantageous. The postholder is expected to manage a number of professional social media accounts and ensure the website development is maintained. The postholder should be flexible and responsive, working to the needs of the service and understand the value and contribution that can be achieved via delivery of quality activity.
