We are building a world-class commercial organization to accelerate our growth and are looking for a Strategic and Commercial Operations Associate to help us build it. As a Strategic and Commercial Operations Associate at cargo.one, you'll be working with the newly formed Commercial Operations team to drive your own cross-functional projects across multiple areas such as Sales, Marketing or Product. The projects and responsibilities you’ll carry will depend on both the company needs and your strengths and interests.
This is a unique, entrepreneurial opportunity to be driving the digitalization of air freight and logistics in a fast-growing Series B company backed by leading Venture Capital firms including Index and Bessemer.

What you’ll be doing:
We are growing rapidly across the globe and we need you to ensure our commercial processes scale with the team, supporting the commercial teams to acquire and retain happy customers. You will be helping this by:
Taking responsibility for various project management activities, such as designing and implementing a new onboarding process for our users with Sales, Marketing and Product.
Setting up sales and customer service processes to help us scale our operations and accelerate our growth.
Proactively identifying issues (e.g. inefficiencies, friction points) in our commercial processes, systems and tooling to reduce friction in daily sales activities, and managing integration between tools, and implementing automation.
We love numbers! You’ll be defining and analysing KPIs as well as their performance, and driving our strategy by enriching it with data.
Providing training, documentation, and ongoing support for sales tools and processes to the relevant stakeholders.
Partnering with the Head of Sales and Commercial Ops Lead to work on initiatives including territory assignment, segmentation, sales compensation, performance metrics, and more.
Connecting key stakeholders and contributing teams (i.e. marketing, partnerships, product) to structure user feedback, develop processes to share insights with key stakeholders.
What you’ll need:
You have gained 2+ years of relevant experience in fast-paced and high-performance work environments such as VC-backed start-ups, consulting or investment banking
You want to grow personally and make an impact with your work from day 1

We work with Salesforce, Hubspot and Bigquery/Looker. Mastery of these tools will be valued highly
