Are you keen to join a supportive, multi-disciplinary team of highly experienced practitioners and leaders, who are passionate about making a difference to people's lives?

We are looking to recruit a number of Trainee High Intensity CBT Therapists to join With You Talking Therapies in Kent and Medway. This exciting opportunity includes an NHS funded Postgraduate Diploma course which will give you the skills to assess and deliver NICE recommended CBT interventions in community settings, for people suffering with symptoms of anxiety and depression.

This is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours per week, dependent on successfully obtaining the Post Graduate Diploma. We are committed to your continued development and retention within our organisation.

The position will be home based but travel within Kent will be needed to attend the Post Graduate Diploma training course at Surrey University, in person client work in the community and team training and meetings. As the course starts mid September, successful applicants will need to be available to start employment by 11th September 2023.

We will provide you with the experience you need to develop your clinical practice and equip you with the skills you need to help clients on their journey to recovery. The first step to achieve this is a thorough induction shadowing qualified CBT therapists and CBT therapy groups. Throughout your role you will provide therapy to clients with a range of common mental health problems to develop your clinical skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Candidates should have a BABCP recognised core professional training and provide qualification and registration documents as proof at interview. Please visit the BABCP website for more details on core professions.

Applicants without a core profession (such as Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners or Counsellors without UKCP or BACP accreditation) must be able to demonstrate they have met the KSA criteria by completion of a KSA portfolio prior to interview (see BABCP website for more information).

Applicants from other specified health and social care professional backgrounds, which are not included as ‘Core Professions’, will be entitled to complete a Condensed KSA portfolio. Please see further details of relevant qualifications and requirements here.

Please note that applications from Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners must demonstrate at least two years post-graduate experience within the PWP role.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday. The position will be home based but travel within Kent is likely for in-person client work in the community and team training and meetings.
