Job Description
About the Role
Wilde Analysis is a multi-disciplined software channel partner and consultancy headquartered near Manchester, with a second office near Cambridge, helping engineering companies digitally transform how they design products – from electric vehicles and wind turbines to medical devices and pharmaceutical clean rooms. We supply Ansys, which is the largest, most popular software product in the world dedicated to creating “virtual models” of how products will perform in reality and enabling our clients to develop better solutions within all industries, including renewable energy, automation and transport.
We are a member of the PDSVISION Group, a fast-growing international digital engineering software and service provider of 400 staff headquartered in Sweden and with operations in Finland, Denmark, Norway, Germany, South Africa and the USA in addition to the UK. PDSVISION offers further world class end to end software solutions and services realizing digital transformation within manufacturing companies, encompassing not only design activities but also aftermarket solutions including emerging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT) and Augmented Reality (AR).
As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Graduate Engineer to join our Services Team.
You would be undertaking consulting projects, supporting implementations within clients and applying market leading software such as Ansys, ReliaSoft, Moldex3D, DEFORM and Flownex to apply structural analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), computational electromagnetics (CEM), reliability engineering or functional safety to a wide range of applications, covering most engineering industries.
Your time will be split between undertaking consulting work, training clients and providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support. You may wish to look at the case studies on our website for a sample of the type of work (http://wildeanalysis.co.uk/casestudies).
We can offer you variety and close support as well as technical and commercial challenges. You will be joining an existing team of over 40 staff within Wilde Analysis and 400 colleagues within PDSVISION. You will find a professional, collaborative and enjoyable working environment, an international outlook and a supportive culture, positively engaged with flexible and hybrid working through use of Teams and other cloud-based systems.
We are committed to Continued Professional Development and will support your career development. For example, new graduates will be encouraged to join our graduate training scheme, leading to Chartered Engineer status.
