Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £35,747.00 to £40,022.00 (Salary Points 36 – 40)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
This new Governance and Complaints Officer will support Legal Counsel in the execution and management of legal, regulatory, performance and governance matters to ensure that the organisation is compliant with relevant legislation and that best practice is observed. This post holder will also manage the complaints process across SAMH and work with teams across SAMH in a wide variety of other areas, for example - management of organisational policies; data protection requests; governance reporting; insurance; and governance and compliance related projects.

We value and recognise relevant specialist skills and experience gained outside of education to be just as valuable as a degree. In this post, we’re looking for someone with prior experience relevant to the role. To succeed in the role you will have excellent organisational skills, be able to interpret and analyse information, and have an approachable style to building good working relationships.
