We are working with a leading global security company based in London, they specialise in providing advanced security solutions to clients worldwide. We are currently looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join the team. As a Frontend Developer, you will primarily work with React, TypeScript, and REST APIs. Experience working with Python would be a bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing high-quality, scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and estimate development timelines.
- Translating visual designs into functional code that powers our web applications.
- Building and enhancing our UI platform using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Acting as a primary point of contact between the design and development teams, representing developers in design system discussions.
- Collaborating closely with visual designers to create and document composable UI elements.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, including information security and acceptable use, and participating in mandatory in-house training.
- Taking on additional responsibilities within the scope of the job role as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of unit testing frontend code to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Proficiency in building and interacting with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with modern application design principles and best practices.
- Experience working in an agile team environment, collaborating effectively with team members.
- Proficiency with Git and issue tracking software for version control and project management.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Python and experience working with Python frameworks.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AWS services and experience working with Lambda functions.
- Bonus: Experience implementing DevOps principles and practices, such as Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bonus: Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, or other security-related technologies.
