Who are we?
We are an independent Surrey based coffee company currently looking for an enthusiastic,
and hard-working Barista to assist us in an exciting new opportunity in Milford.
The Coffee Can Company has been founded on a passion for all things coffee, food and
hospitality, centred around the needs of the local communities in which they are located. We
are currently operating two lovely mobile coffee shops, one fabulous community cafe in the
Lower Bourne, Farnham and a Coffee Cart at UCA Farnham. We have a great team and work with
some amazing local suppliers to bring you the very best the best products and service.
The role of Cafe Assistant:
Primarily we would expect the Cafe Assistant to enthusiastically serve customers at the till, take payment, assist in the kitchen on occasion, and keep the cafe clean and tidy and all done with a smile.
The opportunity.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to become a part of our lovely team in our new cafe
in Milford. We are looking for a full-time Cafe Assistant to come on board and assist us in the
day to day running of the café.
The candidate
We are looking for a passionate individual who will share our excitement about our products
and assist the manager in the day to day running of the cafe. Existing hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. You will be a big part of our customers experience and so good interpersonal skills are essential.
You must have a flexible, positive approach and first-class customer service skills.
Essential Skills and Experience:
At least 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Should be dependable and reliable
Be good at multi-tasking
Exceptional organisational skills
Ability to work well with others with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
Hours: Shifts are ranging between 8am and 4:30pm, 5 days a week. We are open 7 days a week and bank
holidays (Closed on Christmas Day), so flexibility and availability to work all shifts is
essential.
Applicants must be fluent in English, be eligible to work in the UK, be able to provide two
current work references.

Pay: £10.50-£12.25 - depending on previous experience.
