Alchemy is working with an established gallery in London which is looking for a new Gallery Assistant to join its international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day administration of the gallery
- First point of contact with clients
- Assisting with Art Fair preparation
- Responsible for shipping arrangements
- Overseeing all relevant shipping paperwork
- Assisting with import and export
- Helping with art fairs
- Some international travel
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience at a commercial art gallery or auction house essential
- Excellent organisational & communication skills
- Understanding of general administrative duties within the art world context
- Excellent writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Fluency in additional languages is desirable
This job is five days per week, including one weekend day
