Supported Independence provide support to individuals with mental health and learning disabilities, and we are looking for a new part time Human Resource Assistant to join our small but friendly Head Office team in central Bristol.
We are a busy and dynamic office and you would be assisting the HR Manager in the running of the Human Resources department. Your responsibilities would focus on general HR administration, such as all administration linked to the onboarding of new staff or staff leaving, helping with the organisation around staff training. At times, your tasks can go outside the typical HR remit. We are looking for an adaptable, welcoming and helpful person with strong, proven IT skills, attention to detail and good communication skills. Prior HR experience is not essential, but would of course be welcome, but this is a role that is for someone who has a keen interest in HR and wanting to build a career.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in HR, as it offers wide experience in a supportive environment.
This role is office based with the potential to go to a hybrid model at a later stage.
We are an equal opportunities employer and encourage applications from people from diverse backgrounds, subject to relevant job criteria being met. Here at Supported Independence, we value our staff and what they bring to the role. We offer paid annual leave, a pension scheme, staff referral scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme, etc.
To apply, please send us a copy of your CV with a cover letter stating why you are interested and what you feel you can bring to the role/any relevant experience you've had.
Please note that all job offers are subject to applicants providing evidence of their right to work in the UK, a DBS check and two employer references.
Please also note that due to the high volume of applicants, we may not be able to reply to everyone. If you have not heard from us within 4 weeks, your application has not been successful.
