Would you like to join our established and driven Agribusiness team in Newark? The team works with farmers, landowners, and investors across the UK to develop agricultural management strategies and maximise owners’ assets. They have a reputation for working with clients and being involved in their farm estate business to give them potential for greater profits and increased opportunities.
We’re now looking for a new member of the team to join and help continue our client service standards, working as a Farm Administrator. If you’re a self-starter who enjoys having a varied workload and managing numerous spinning plates, then this could be a great opportunity for you.
This is a permanent full-time position on a 37.5 hour contract (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm).
- Basic book-keeping and data analysis
- Assisting with subsidy claims, including environmental schemes
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers
- Assisting with preparation of budgets and cashflows
- Maintaining records for farm assurance and compliance
- Basic mapping
- General administration
- Great organisational skills
- Experience and understanding of the Agricultural industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong numeracy skills
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- The desire to learn
- Excellent people and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Full clean driving licence
Full training will be provided for relevant systems and procedures.
