Our values embody our way of working and they are Dignified, Compassionate, Inspired and Pioneering. Working for St Luke’s offers a real opportunity to make a difference to local people. We are looking to recruit a highly organised and experienced Hospitality Assistant to join our Hospitality team.
This role includes working in several environments throughout the organisation including our In Patient Centre (IPC), Active Intervention Centre (AIC), Café & Clifford House. Clifford House is our new centre for people with an illness with no cure and their carers / relatives. The house is also the hub of our external events ranging from cocktail and canape evenings to large conferencing and fine dining meals.
Our hospitality team provides a hotel and restaurant style service to our patients. St Luke’s uses professional staff and demands exceptional standards. Mealtimes are not set and our patients can eat at any time of the day. Food is a crucial part of the care our patients receive and our kitchen team offer locally sourced fresh food to cover all tastes and dietary necessities. The menus are fully flexible taking into account fully the wishes of each individual patient.
Standards, attention to detail and professionalism are essential at all times for this role. As part of our hospitality team you will be responsible for all areas of food and drink service with special emphasis on our patient, client and visitor’s needs.
