The Trust is seeking an exceptional individual to lead the delivery of the Prince’s Trust programmes across Scotland, to fulfil our vision that every young person should have the chance to succeed.

As Director of Delivery for Scotland, you will be responsible for managing a budget in the region of £5.5m and leading a dispersed team comprising colleagues, volunteers and a network of referral and delivery partners, working together to support young people each year to transform their lives by developing the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn.

The Trust’s strategy for 2021-2025 outlines our ambition to give more disadvantaged young people the opportunity to create a better future through employment, education and enterprise. To realise this ambition, you will need to develop and implement plans to improve the impact and volume of our delivery, engage and motivate your team, as well as supporting colleagues across the organisation, build relationships with existing and new partners, and have a strong focus on ensuring the Trust is a diverse and inclusive organisation. A genuine and empathetic understanding of the challenges facing local young people is also essential.

Your role is a member of the Delivery Senior Leadership team, working collaboratively to ensure consistent high-quality delivery across the United Kingdom, and you’ll be a member of The Trust’s Extended Leadership Team, who work closely to achieve the common goal of supporting young people.

The Prince’s Trust is committed to building a workforce that is as diverse as the young people that represent modern-day Britain, and we are ultimately here to support. As part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy we are wanting to build a team that has greater representation of the diverse communities across the country and particularly welcome candidates with lived experiences from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds.

We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us. We want to continue having a positive impact on young people’s lives and we couldn’t do this without the important work of Delivery Directors!
