We are recruiting to a Senior Accountant post supporting our Health Adults & Community Finance Team. Candidates should ideally have a strong knowledge of the finance related issues for these areas, and will be responsible for supporting them as a Finance Business Partner and ‘Critical Friend’ providing high level financial advice, support, scrutiny and challenge to the Directors / Assistant Directors and their Heads of Service, covering a range of service related financial and management accounting, reconciliation and reporting responsibilities (including supporting budget build, budget monitoring, grant income management, as appropriate).
Successful candidates would need to have a CCAB or CIMA qualification and have experience in Local Government Finance.
