We are seeking to recruit a Finance and Personal Budgets Officer to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Operations Team on a full-time permanent basis. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for finance project work, as well as the day-to-day finance functions for Statutory SEND High Needs Payments and/or travel.

We recognise that most potential applicants may not have the specialist knowledge around SEND, therefore a desire to learn is essential, we will ensure that the successful applicant is provided with the relevant training to undertake the post to the required standard. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with an eye for detail and the ability to follow processes.
However, we do expect an excellent understanding of financial management to include the management of multiple budgets and complex funding streams.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
