Job Description
We are Insurance Brokers looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Executive which deals with all classes of Commercial Insurance for existing and new clients.
You will be proactive with strong communication skills and have a desire to develop your professional career within a growing team.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years Commercial Insurance experience. This position would be ideal for candidates who are already in an Account Handlers role who are looking to move to a full sales role.
THE ROLE. WE WILL NEED YOU TO:
- Be responsible for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business and you will be rewarded accordingly.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.
- Use your relationship skills, rapport, and product knowledge to grow a book of commercial insurance clients and generate new clients by creating a pipeline of prospects.
- Support Account Executives in retaining and developing a book of cross class commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
- Use your cross-selling skills to maximize the share of wallet from your clients.
- Demonstrate a high level of client retention.
- Manage day to day enquirers from clients, including new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients, insurers and colleagues.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years commercial lines insurance experience.
- Good working knowledge of most classes of commercial lines insurance including Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Fleet, Financial Lines and Package.
- Excellent organisation skills, high attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
- Confident communicator, written and oral, willing to challenge and desire to build and maintain client and insurer relationships.
- Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance.
- Experience of Acturis system an advantage, but not essential.
- A good standard of education with minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English,
