What a Global Commercial role at AstraZeneca involves:

  • Development and execution of strategic marketing and commercialization initiatives

  • Commercial representative on cross functional Global Product Team

  • Engages regions and key markets to build new capabilities, drive launch readiness and commercial excellence

  • Development and global implementation of brand strategy, brand positioning, launch plans/programmes, forecasts and KPIs for a specific disease area

  • Collaborate closely and influence cross-functional partners (e.g. Insights, Access, Medical, Sales, Training, Corporate Affairs) in support of tumor strategic/operational plans

  • Develop and deliver key brand presentations to leadership

  • Manage agency relationships, workflow, and commercial budget

Typical experience we look for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

  • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with previous experience in global or in-country marketing

  • Launch experience

  • Experience of providing commercial strategic input into early product teams
