This role is responsible for S&OP, Supply Planning, New Product Introduction Planning, Inventory Management, Product Life Cycle Management, Cost Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Business Process Management, and related IT systems across assigned portfolio of products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for balancing demand with supply ensuring supply continuity and cost management.
Responsible for monthly Sales, and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for assigned portfolio of products.
Utilising a collaborative and consensus building approach with stakeholders to understand and plan for demand drivers and supply constraints.
Responsible for providing forecasts and purchase orders to suppliers and other stakeholders based on contractual obligations and internal processes.
Responsible for supporting, supply chain, new product introduction activities ensuring a successful launch/ introduction.
Developing the long-range demand and supply plan, continuously looking for opportunities to optimise the end to end supply chain
Responsible for managing open PO and production schedule tracking activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This includes maintaining IT systems, open PO trackers and production schedule trackers, analysing the impact of changes, implementing mitigation plans and escalating issues when needed.
Manage inventory to limit obsolescence while assuring the fulfilment of demand, maintain minimum and maximum stock level requirements, stay compliant (SOX or other) and adhere to strategic plans.
Identifying, tracking, and planning of strategic materials/ components to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiencies.
Supply Chain point of contact for assigned products and associated suppliers (The SC network).
Cover for other Supply Chain Managers as needed.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related subject (i.e Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Engineering etc) or equivalent qualification or experience.
· APICS or related certifications desirable.
Professional Work Experience Requirements
· Extensive (5+ years) experience of Supply Chain within Life Sciences or related industry.
· Qualified candidates will have knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning concepts and best practices.
· Experience of working within a Global environment.
Experience and Skills
· Strong process and systems knowledge
· Specific experience in the areas of Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management and Sales and Operations Planning
· Strong data analysis, data management and quantitative skills
· ERP and / or digital system deployment experience
· APICS certification desirable

Travel
