Job Description
Due to our growing success at the Maypole we are looking to develop and add to our talented kitchen team, we are currently looking for a CDP, Senior CDP or Sous Chef.
We work with fresh ingredients serving gastro pub food and everything is homemade from breads to desserts so it is a great opportunity to learn and develop.
The hours will be 35 - 45 hours per week
The salary is negotiable.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes
- Helping the head chef and sous chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
