Give Me Cosmetics has an in-house Marketing team including a Senior and Junior Graphic Designer, and we are now looking for a Content Video Editor to join this team, assisting our Content Creator with the editing of all marketing materials in the form of Reels, TikTok and Youtube videos.
The successful candidate needs to be totally confident in their ability to create and edit high quality video content in an extremely fast moving, enthusiastic, creative environment.You will work closely with our Marketing team to ensure the brands’ aesthetics are represented coherently. Reporting into our Digital Marketing Manager and working alongside our in-house content creator, you will be responsible for creating engaging and exciting visual content for various social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create high quality and engaging videos for Give Me Cosmetic’s social platforms. Eg. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Youtube, Amazon
- Developing and maintaining a consistent brand tone, image, and style throughout the content produced.
- Assembling influencer raw footage, editing and manipulating the footage to produce social content for our platforms. Liaising with the Outreach Team with incoming influencer videos & optimising content to fit specifications for each social channel.
- Creating add graphics and videos, digitally improve picture quality, and ensure videos meet brand/social media guidelines. Working alongside the marketing team to develop engaging and highly creative content for Social Ads across various platforms.
- Creating video content throughout photoshoots, Influencer events and overseas promotional activities.
Skills Required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a video specialist or similar role
- Degree in Media/ Film role desirable but not required.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and the ability to use all of its features. Proficiency in Adobe Audition would be desirable but not a necessity.
- Skills in Motion Graphics.
- Camera Operation/ Videography skills desired, but not required.
- Knowledge of the use of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook and the differences in the type of creatives required for each.
- Demonstrate high quality video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Be able to manage and prioritise multiple projects in an efficient time scale ensuring to meet project deadlines.
The Ideal candidate would be;
- Up to date and have an eye for viral content, creators, and trends that can be recreated within a quick turnaround.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent video editing skills, preferably including graphics and animation
- Comprehensive grasp of media law, particularly copyright laws to prevent any music/ content infringement.
