Job Introduction
As a Reactive Cleaning Operative at Sodexo in Merville Barracks, Colchester, Circular Road South, Colchester, you'll deliver cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. What you’ll do:
- Clean buildings/facilities which are occupied by military and civilian personnel, and are in use
- Provide a high standard of service according to the job specification provided through Sodexo Cleaning
- Observe all Sodexo Health & Safety and QA processes and policies at all times
- Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
- Ensure all areas of an office, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas, are glistening
- Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand gels
- Be a champion of health and safety practices
- Will be predominantly working on Merville Barracks site however they may be times when supporting the satellite sites may be required.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction
- Held a full UK Driving license for 2 years or more

Package Description
- 37 hours per week
- £10.42 per hour
- 2 positions are Monday to Friday business hours and other 2 include Saturday Sunday with weekday rest days
- Requires a valid driving licence for 2 years
- Full uniform supplied
- Full training provided
- Annual leave April - April 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
