Operations & Development Manager- Housing Voids

We require an ambitious and motivated Operations & Development Manager to support the Service Manager to establish a new Housing voids team. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and will ensure the team work at pace to deliver our goals and targets. Every day, you will inspire your team to always put our customers at the heart of our service and will continuously look for innovative ways to improve our performance.
This is a permanent post and is full-time (37 hours/week).
Location: The role is based between Solpro (Attercliffe) & Manor Lane although working in different locations across Sheffield may be required at times.
- The post offers the successful applicant, the opportunity to take an important role in this newly established team. Under the guidance of the Service Manager, you will manage the operational delivery of the Housing Voids Team, as well as driving the strategic vision for the service.
- You will have proven achievements as a manager in a related field, as well as having experience of managing and leading teams that consistently deliver exceptional standards of customer service and successful outcomes.
- You will lead, organise, motivate and technically support the team to ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes, and lead on the development of a new Quality Assurance Framework.
- You will identify areas for development and improvement, proactively seeking information from a variety of sources to inform service development and strategy.
- You will be a good communicator, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload whilst managing teams and staff. You will have experience in developing and improving services and building partnerships with stakeholders to support customers and improve performance.
