About the Team
Reporting to the Director of Finance Europe the Finance Assistant is an integral part of the European Finance Team with full accountability for all aspects of the UK Accounts Payable function, as well as key month-end tasks that must be completed to strict deadlines.
About the Position
The Finance Assistant will have specific responsibilities for the UK Accounts Payable process, from entering supplier invoices, gaining approval and making the necessary payments as well as responsibility for key weekly and month-end accounting tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
Accountability for entire UK Accounts Payable process.
Raising purchase orders for UK operation as required.
Management of staff expenses, credit card process and recharges to clients.
Coordination of the weekly consolidated cash flow for the region.
Management of prepayments, accruals and fixed assets.
Weekly bank reconciliations.
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Adhoc tasks and duties as required.
About You
This role requires an organised individual with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are necessary as well as the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. A through understanding of MS office applications is a pre requisite and prior knowledge of Oracle NetSuite, Tipalti or FYLE would be beneficial.
