The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
We are now looking for a Buying and eCommerce Support Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience-
26 days' annual leave plus public holidays, increasing to 29 days after 3 years’ service

As a Buying and eCommerce Support Assistant, you will provide essential support across our product buying and eCommerce functions.
Ensuring the success of our new digital retail offer, you will assist with the smooth running of our product buying processes from ordering through to delivery.
Managing purchase orders and invoices for products, you will ensure that all new suppliers and product items are correctly set up on the appropriate systems as well as dealing with stock enquires and scheduling and tracking deliveries.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage product supplier payments and product samples

Support content management for the eCommerce website

Act as the primary contact for enquiries from eCommerce customers

Support the administration of digital marketing activity
To be considered as a Buying and eCommerce Support Assistant, you will need:
- Experience working in a retail environment within the heritage sector or with a major retailer

Experience working with various retail systems

To be commercially focused with strong business acumen

Strong communication and customer service skills

Excellent organisational skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
