The Position:
Applications are invited for an Auditor/Factory Support to be based at our Doncaster Site working with our suppliers and within our Group. This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week, 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all supplier documents are obtained for approval to supply.
- Ensuring audits are carried out to the relevant standard i.e., SARIA Supplier Audit Standard/ appropriate Accreditation standard.
- Contacting Supplier or Site Representatives to arrange audits.
- Audit preparation, i.e., sending out pre-audit questionnaires, gathering information relevant to the audit, generating audit checklists.
- Carrying out audits and evaluating supplier or quality systems against the relevant standard- SARIA or a third party.
- Generating and issuing audit reports. Carrying out follow-up audits and reviews.
- During the audit follow up any quality issues with regard to the supplier to ensure corrective actions are closed out/completed.
- Carrying out internal audits.
- Supporting factory personnel with Quality/Technical issues and audits.
- Assisting with training of factory personnel as required.
- Ensuring up to date raw material specs are obtained and held for each site.
The Person
- You must be able to work using your own initiative or as part of a team.
- Be able to communicate well at all levels.
- You must be a motivated individual.
- You must hold a valid passport/full clean Driving Licence for UK & occasional European travel.
- A Lead Auditor or Supplier Audit Certificate/Qualification is essential to this role.
- Level 3 HACCP Certificate.
- Good understanding of the Meat/Slaughter Industry and Animal by Products.
- Experience of Auditing against BRC Standard and Feed Industry standards.
- Good IT Skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
