This role will be instrumental in driving profitable growth through ownership of the Distribution P&L and provision of robust, comprehensive and insightful financial analysis.
By establishing strong relationships, this person will act as both a business partner and a leader, bridging operations and finance to ensure that operational decisions are in line with delivering our financial plans.
This position demands the ability to understand TJX’s end-to-end off-price business model, while being able to link the impact of operational performance to financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Be an independent, credible and challenging finance partner to Region 2 PCs (processing centres) and other senior Distribution and Finance stakeholders, to support the delivery of business goals through regular touchpoints and influential interactions

Own the regular planning and tracking of key KPIs for Region 2 PCs and be able to use them to assist Distribution and Finance management to make the best business decisions

Provide meaningful and insightful analysis on financial performance through regular prospective and retrospective reviews

Perform month end and forecasting duties for Region 2 PCs and be able to articulate and present key drivers for performance vs. plan to senior stakeholders in Distribution and Finance. Proactively manage risks and opportunities to the P&L through regular contact with business partners

Work with the Region 2 PCs on the budget and long-range financial plan processes to provide outputs for Region 2 PCs; identifying opportunities to remain efficient as we grow

Be the gatekeeper of the Region 2 capital budgets, offer support and challenge to the distribution centres, provide ROI analysis for capital requests from Region 2 PCs, to ensure financially viable investments are made

Assist the Manager and Manager of, within the team, to support regional and network growth strategies, such as new PC investments

Provide cohesive analytical support on ad hoc analyses that drive strategic and operational decisions

Own and drive initiatives for internal efficiencies, champion process improvement and automation within the team

Travel to Region 2 on a regular basis will be required for the role
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

Ability to learn and develop knowledge of operational levels to be an effective and reliable business partner

Excellent communication skills across all levels and must have well developed influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes

Ability to develop relationships across the business and at different levels
