We don't want to brag, but when it comes to email marketing, Ajar Marketing is kind of a big deal!
We work with businesses to help them achieve their business and personal goals by helping them get their ideal customers in their diary.
Our (currently) very small business is made up of experienced entrepreneurs who have built many successful businesses and have branched out to the world of marketing.
We are a young start up business but already help many clients across the UK, working with them to define their ideal customer, seeking out those ideal customers and then working to put those ideal customers in front of our amazing clients.
From experience, there are many solutions out there that can generate leads but not many that promises actual booked meetings in the diary and that my friend, is why our clients love us!
You would get to work directly with the CEO, who has already taken his other business to £6m per year in the space of 4 years, who gets asked to talk at events such as “Artificial Intelligence Uncovered” and is a total tech geek!

The Low Down
You'll slide seamlessly into our 2-person Team and be person numero 3 in the business - so we're a tight knit, small team. You’ll share the office with our other business, which has 18 people with an average age of high 30's. This average age is likely to come down after our recruitment drive to bring in smart, clever, cookies.
IMPORTANT: although we are different to other marketing agencies, industry disrupting, very cool, and very smart, our capacity is NOT.

Your main role will be to set up and monitor email campaigns, work with clients to understand their ideal customer profiles and make the process better with automation.

You WILL get the chance to test out exciting new software to build automations, you WILL be able to speak with our clients and help them figure out their ideal customers and YOU will be able to use your natural, inquisitive self to do things you may never have done before.
In addition, we have a CEO that LOVES tech and AI and is buzzing with the opportunities of what that can bring to not just Ajar but to many other businesses.
You won't be trying to convince a dinosaur about the future... we strongly believe you have to show up like no-one else does, so we need someone with a creative flare and an eye for the future.

* The Perfect Candidate Will Tick The Boxes Below: *
- You’ll be just leaving or have just left University and looking for an opportunity to shine
- You’ll probably have a 1st class degree or a grade that doesn’t match your capability coz you are too smart and got a bit bored!
- You'll have great attention to detail .... hint ... there are some pre-screening questions to test you out here. Only people that answer get through to the next round!
- You’ll get excited about new technology especially AI and how it can make our lives easier
- You’ll have personally dabbled with No Code tools before (like Bubble or Softr) just because you are interested to see what these tools can do
- You’ll have a rudimentary understanding of coding. You’re NOT a coder but can hack around and semi understand code
- You will roll your sleeves up and do what it takes to get things done
- You are a problem solver at heart. When faced with a problem your instant reaction is to figure out how to fix it
- You'll have the technical abilities to create email workflows in software such as Lemlist
- You’ll be able to pick up new software easily coz you just love playing around with cool stuff
- You’ll be smart, engaging and enthusiastic
- You'll be much cooler and hipper than us

Platforms you'll be using:
Lemlist, Softr, Pipedrive, CRM, Airtable, Evaboot, LinkedIn Sales navigator, Zapier, Google Sheets
* The Typical Things You’d Be Busy Doing: *
- Creating, maintaining and tweaking email campaigns and follow up sequences
- Responding to inbound replies from the email campaign on behalf of clients (until automated)
- Speaking with potential clients that need help to get more customer meetings in their diary – checking for affordability and taking the details of the ideal customer profile
- Translating the ideal customer profile into the search engine of LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Writing proposals to potential new clients with a sample list of ideal customers
- Registering domains and updating DNS records
- Creating new email addresses and warming them up
- Monitoring the ongoing campaigns for errors and effectiveness
- Fixing things when they go wrong and then documenting how the fix has happened so anyone can help
- Building out further capabilities to automate the process by using No Code tools like Zapier.
