As part of Sytner Groups Central Recruitment Team, you have the opportunity to get a thorough understanding of how we operate not only as a group but as individual brands and what it takes to be a part of the UKs leading automotive retailer.
As well as working with some of the industry’s most inspiring professionals from our sales departments to our service departments and state of the art workshops, the role of our Recruitment Administrator is pivotal in ensuring our dealerships succeed in their plans for recruitment.
The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive recruitment administrative support to the HR team based at Penman Way completing day to day administrative tasks which contribute to the overall success of the team and the wider business.
To become involved in HR and Recruitment initiatives across the company to improve our customer satisfaction, aid staff retention and ensure that we are recruiting the best talent.
To operate as a true partner to the business and as an extension of the dealership teams, providing support and guidance to the brands you are responsible for.
Duties and responsibilities for the role include:
- Using the applicant tracking system to review vacancies and administer them in the advertising stage through to shortlisting
- Ensuring the system is used effectively and kept up to date
- Supporting the divisional teams and hiring managers, to utilise the system
- Screening and Shortlisting CVs against relevant criteria
- Liaising with hiring managers across the group
- Supporting candidates through the recruitment process where required
- Supporting managers with the selection process, offering advice and support, including shortlisting criteria
- Supporting managers across the business with any recruitment related activities and initiatives
- Pro-actively sourcing for hard to fill vacancies
- Overseeing the jobs email inbox and responding to queries

It is essential that you can demonstrate strong administrative skills with a good understanding of Systems, and data. Experience in a recruitment or HR are would be an advantage.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable with a high volume of work, have the ability to work closely with hiring managers and have the confidence to communicate at all levels and push back when necessary. You will require excellent time management and prioritising skills.
A key part of this role is forming positive working relationships with colleagues across the business, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act with integrity and observe confidentiality are essential.
