Our service user is a teenage boy who lives with his family in Cheadle. You will be required to support him at home and in his educational setting.
He requires an enthusiastic and committed individual who is happy to engage and interact in the activities he enjoys. He likes noisy toys, watching Disney movies and cartoons, listening to music, and watching coloured lights.
He is unable to mobilise but has the use of a wheelchair which gives him the independence to move freely around his home.
At times, he can display behaviours that challenge and due to this, our ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be able to manage these behaviours accordingly. This could be via the use of distraction techniques and re-assurance.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
