We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Early Years Educators and Childcare Practitioners. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality early years education and childcare in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which children can develop and grow, following the EYFS framework.
- Plan, organize, and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Use observations and assessments to track children's progress against the EYFS framework, and identify areas where further support may be needed.
- Work in partnership with parents and guardians to ensure that children's needs are being met, and provide feedback on their development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, including observations, assessments, and learning journeys.
- Attend relevant training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times, and that all equipment and toys are safe and in good condition.
- Be flexible and adaptable in meeting the needs of the children and their families, taking into account individual requirements and preferences.
Requirements:
- An Ofsted recognized early years education and childcare qualification.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and its application in early years education and childcare.
- A current DBS check and up-to-date First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of child development and a passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's care.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with a commitment to providing high-quality early years education and childcare.
Working Conditions:
Working hours may vary depending on the needs of the service, but will typically be between 8am and 6pm. Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
