Due to our continued growth, we seek to recruit Ambulance Technicians.
Job description:
No two days are the same, as an emergency care assistant you will be working alongside clinicians attending every kind of accident and emergency.
The technician role requires motivation, commitment and personal resilience as well as an ability to reflect and seek feedback on clinical practice.
You need to have excellent communication skills, be friendly and work well within a team. You must also embrace and promote equality, diversity and inclusivity in your role and at every opportunity.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- drive to medical emergencies
- Check and maintain the ambulance
- assess the risk to yourself and others and ask for more support if needed
- evaluating different approaches to solving problems
- communicating results accurately and reliably, with structured and coherent arguments and the ability to evaluate and interpret these
- record patient information and complete a handover report
- To ensure a continuous duty of care to patients, within the scope of practice and competency of this role, ensuring an appropriate level of monitoring and treatment is maintained and continued until the patient is either discharged or transferred to the care of another healthcare professional.

Job Type: Full-time 36 hours a week
Salary: £30 888
To be short-listed for this position you must meet the following criteria:
- CERAD or IHCD (Ambulance Emergency Driving)
- As this involves driving it is essential you have a full driving licence and a C1 on your licence (with no more than 3 penalty points).
- You must be over the age of 21 with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

Schedule:
Due to contracts being based across the country, ideal candidates must be a car driver with their own vehicle and willing to travel, as well as being flexible and able to work weekends. The shift pattern is 3 shifts a week with overtime available this can include but is not limited to days, nights, weekends and long-distance work including working events.
