We’re looking for an Electrician to join the Score Group team based at our facility in Peterhead.

About the role
The Electrician will be responsible for any installations, repairs, testing and maintenance of all the electrical systems within their assigned area or workspace. This must be done inkeeping with the companys QHSE safety policies, procedures and working practices.

The successful candidate should bring a range of working with different electrical systems and scenarios to the company. They should ensure that all electrical work is done promptly and efficiently and to the high standards expected by the company. They should also be comfortable working individually or as part of a team

Primary responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of installation power distribution system
- Responsible for completing verification assurance and maintenance routines and maintain quality records
- Ensure competence in the electrical safety procedures and to be certified as Authorised Electrical Person
- Ensure that the underlying causes of failures are understood, and that action is taken to avoid repeat failures
- Liaise with manager and supervisors to maintain maintenance plans and documentation
- Maintain accurate and appropriate maintenance records and ensure that the data is entered into the appropriate information management systems
- Is conversant with the isolation procedures of all electrical equipment.

- Assist with the training and mentoring of apprentices
- Self motivated, enthusiastic and commitment to delivering HSE excellence
Qualifications
- Completed a modern apprenticeship programme
- S/NVQ Process Engineering Maintenance (Electrical) Level 3 or above
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience
- Experience of three phase machinery in an industrial environment,
- Fault finding
- Prior working experience with generator units, control equipment and protection devices, also HV cables and control cables
- Testing and fault finding on HV and LV circuits.
- The ability to read single line schematic drawings, switchboard schematics, generator schematics, circuit diagrams
- Previous working experience in a large workshop or factory facility is preferred
