Our Norse Group TFM Division are a lead Facilities Management services provider across Norfolk, specialising in a range of Soft and Hard TFM services on behalf of Norfolk County Council. We have a fantastic career opportunity for experienced FM Manager to join our established team based at County Hall in Norwich on a full-time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week.
As a Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the management of statutory compliance, planned preventative maintenance and reactive works for a portfolio of sites. This role is to cover the portfolio of 150 Farms and 2 Gypsy Roma Travellers sites, which you will share with another FM Manager. You will be required to provide a comprehensive and efficient service to ensure all works are managed to within an appropriate timeframe, delivered to budget and agreed standards whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, company policies and client objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage, identify, schedule and deliver statutory compliance, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across the sites within agreed timeframes, budgets and agreed standards.
- Deliver excellent communication and stakeholder management to all site contacts and central NCC clients.
- Ensure all work carried out by contractors meet required specifications and timelines, including building effective working relationships with internal Norse service teams.
- Ensure the CAFM system accurately holds assets, documents, and job status
- Compile quotes and estimates for remedial and small project works, in compliance with client procurement framework
- Ensure all relevant legislation, health and safety, codes of practice, and Norse Commercial Services Policies are conformed to
Our Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience of delivering Facilities Management services
- Experience of managing sub-contractors
- Knowledge of statutory compliances, Health and Safety and associated legislation
- Commercially aware, with financial and budgetary experience
- Influential with strong stakeholder management experience
- Full UK Drivers Licence to meet travel requirements
