We're looking to further adopt sophisticated approaches to how we utilise data to interact with and service our customers backed with a £3bn investment programme.

As a Data strategy manager, you'll join the Engagement Team who maintain close relationships with Business Units to ensure business strategic objectives are enabled through central data & technology capabilities. Leading the relationship between several business units.

The Group recognises that data and analytics are significant business differentiators and play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitions. We are looking to drive a more sophisticated approach as to how it manages data and how it interacts and services its customers through the optimisation of data and analytics. We work together in the Data & Machine Learning delivery Platform within the Group Chief Operating Office to build our strategic Cloud based technology and enabling that technology to release value across the Business.

We’re looking for data strategy managers who are comfortable leading a team to build and maintain deep relationships with business units, manage senior stakeholders to ensure the priorities/requirements of the business are understood whilst delivering against their data strategy. along with Co-ordinating the development of business aligned roadmaps to achieve strategic priorities leveraging data and analytics, including personalisation, Conversational Banking and digitisation across all LBG. We want driven, dynamic and innovative individuals who can bring together teams of experts to enable the identification of new commercialisation opportunities from data & analytics. With an understanding of business strategy, work with business leadership to enable transition ton the cloud technologies, shaping the thinking of topics such as; the operating model, ways of working, user experience & user readiness and be able to co-ordinate interlock with the business.

We’re looking for you to bring fresh ideas, so we’d be looking for you to have 4+ years relevant working experience and proficient in the following areas:

  • Experienced leader.

  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to lead, syndicate and achieve organisational change.

  • Background of data & technology within a Consumer &/ or Commercial businesses environment.

  • Understanding of business & technology strategy, data & analytics enablement & commercialisation of data.

  • Knowledge of analytics and data science, relevant tools and insight on how to support, use and exploit these capabilities.

  • An understanding of industry best practice and how to apply this to drive better deliveries for our customers in a cloud environment.

  • Financial Services and/ or Cloud technology background preferred.

Location: London/Bristol

Competitive salary, the base salary banding for this role is £84,870- £106,510 depending on location and experience - plus benefits outlined below.
