The role
As an Administration Assistant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll be responsible for processing all Service Centre administration for the New Dimensions contract.
The New Dimensions contract works with specialised vehicles and equipment that are capable of responding to major disruptive events, working closely with the Fire & Rescue service. You’ll support the maintenance of a fleet of 550, 46 Fire and Rescue Authorities, 9 regions and circa 150 fire stations.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for inventory management and asset tracking, capture maintenance data accurately and liaise with different departments on site.
- Preparing service paperwork in advance of scheduled services
- Managing administration tasks in order of priority
- Using the asset tracking system and national asset tracking system
Essential experience of the Administration Assistant,
- PC literate, ability to use Microsoft packages
- Previous administration experience
- Good communication skills
- Proactive thinking and problem solving
This role will be full time based on site at Bardon working an average 40 hours per week over 5 days one week and 4 days the following week.
Week 1: Monday – Thursday 0700 – 1630 and Friday 0700 – 1530
Week 2: Monday – Thursday 0700 – 1630
The successful candidate must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance level for this role.
