The Opportunity:
Reporting to the National Distribution Manager (Non-Bulk), the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out a range of driving and delivery activities, including:
o HGV driving
o Manual handling
o Safe loading and unloading of the vehicle
o Assorted administrative requirements
- Fully complying with our Operator’s licence requirements, including tachograph use and the working time directive
- Maintaining the condition and roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle while incorporating the use of our daily defect reporting system
- Ensuring your assigned vehicle is kept in a clean condition
The Person:
The successful candidate will:
- Service customers in an efficient, friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Be trained to a standard level or equivalent (preferred, but not necessary)
- Have professional HGV driving experience, or training can be provided for the right candidate
- Be flexible and compliant in their attitude to working hours
- Be committed to completing all tasks whilst respecting working time legislation and road transport regulations
- Have a positive hands-on attitude and be willing to take on a wide range of tasks and challenges
