About the Role
Quadient is looking for a Management Accountant reporting to Director of Accounting, based in London. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a large Multinational Company taking full responsibility for accounting and reporting for several Quadient entities in the UK.
The main responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Manager in management of the month end process to tight deadlines.
- Responsible for all accounting journals
- Manage accruals, pre-payments, provisions, deferrals, amortisation, etc on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring integrity of financial accounts, reconciling the more challenging accounts and co-ordinating with other members of the team to ensure all completed in a timely manner. Resolve issues to ensure balances are up to date.
- Ensure stock control measures are in place and provisions are in line with Group policy. Work with the sales team to highlight aging stock for sales effort focus.
- Working capital and cashflow reporting to Group.
- Intercompany Accounts reconciliation.
- Provision of Management information reports and KPI’s for the management
- Assist in the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process.
- Support year-end processes including preparation for audit.
- Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Ensure timely filing of VAT return and assist with other tax filing.
- Support the Finance leadership in the smooth and effective running of the finance department.
- Ad hoc projects, supporting the Finance team.
About YOU:
- Qualified accountant (CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accounting role within industry.
- Strong IT skills, SAP experience would be helpful. Also, Microsoft Office with a particularly strong ability in Excel.
- Experience in Hyperion Reporting is a plus.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical, problem solving and reconciliation skills.
- Proven focus on continuous improvements.
- Deadline driven and results focused.
- Work effectively with team members - internal and external to department and within the Quadient Group organisation.
- Possess the energy, enthusiasm & flexibility to successfully work with other team members in analysing, understanding, and working to improve the systems that underpin financial reporting.
- Good understanding of accounting guidelines.
- Proven track record of working on your own initiative.

Salary: £55,000.53-£60,000.34 per year
