Purpose of the role:
With a national responsibility for designated vendor(s), this role will ensure stock is processed by the BCA branch network with complete and accurate descriptions and then allocated into the appropriate sales programme/channel. Effective interfacing with internal stakeholders and regular communication with the vendor throughout the remarketing process will ensure service excellence and market leading performance is delivered for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Using stock reports, ensure vehicles have been received and processed efficiently within the BCA branch network. Highlight and escalate necessary actions and issues to ensure vehicles are in a sale-ready status as soon as possible.
- Interrogate reports and other data sources to ensure complete, accurate and high quality vehicle information is captured prior to sale, optimising the remarketing experience/results for buyer and vendor.
- Allocate vehicles into the sale programme according to the vendor requirements, updating internal stakeholders to ensure sales operations run smoothly.
- Lead communications and reporting for vendors to execute their sales plan successfully and provide pertinent feedback into the business that will support customer retention and growth.
- Ensure vehicles are processed, presented and reported within specific customer SLA’s – escalating any issues that will prevent this from being achieved.
- Interface with various stakeholders within the BCA Group to ensure vehicles are processed, offered, sold and dispatched as efficiently as possible.
- Escalate issues and opportunities within the Group to ensure service excellence is maintained or improved for our customers.
- Adhere to process requirements with appropriate recommendations to improve and develop operational efficiencies for BCA, service excellence and market leading performance for customers.
- Achieve operational KPI’s that contribute to the company’s revenue targets and limitation of exposure to unnecessary costs.
- Understand what needs to be achieved each week and uses to do lists and outlook to manage time
- Understand and can demonstrate technical skills required to do their job
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:
- Experience of building and maintaining good working relationships with internal colleagues and customers, across a wide range of hierarchical levels.
- Resilient customer service skills with an ability to resolve local issues quickly and professionally, and know when and where to escalate more complex issues.
- Experience working in a fast-paced business with the ability to work to tight deadlines and correctly prioritise workload.
- A natural ability to consistently deliver high levels of accuracy and performance, through attention to detail and disciplined working practices.
- Computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using core BCA systems
- Experience working within the wholesale automotive industry.
