An opportunity has arisen for a Mid-Day Supervisor to join our hardworking team to supervise children at lunchtime. You will be required from 12noon until 1.00pm each day with flexibility to cover absences on an earlier sitting.
Our school aims to provide enjoyable dinner times for our children.

Are you patient and kind with children?
Do you have the ability to supervise many children at the same time paying close attention to children who may have special dietary needs?

You will work in the school dining hall and on the playgrounds, ensuring the children enjoy a safe and pleasant environment. You will be a good role model for children to ensure they use good manners and treat each other respectfully. This will be an active role as you will be encouraging children to socialise and participate in a variety of playtime activities.
Brief Summary of Duties:-
- Control the behaviour of the children whilst they eat their meal/packed lunch in the dining hall
- Control the behaviour of pupils on the playground initiating playtime activities
Discipline pupils if necessary
- Deal with accidents/first aid, accurately completing first aid slips and clearly communicating with staff
- Return children to their class for afternoon registration
- Keep pupils occupied when it’s wet play and have to remain indoors.
This position is part time only - please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. The salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
