1. Communicate effectively, confidently and confidentially with all internal and external personnel, including Executive Teams, MPs, ICBs, external organisations and the wider healthcare economy, on a face-to-face basis, by telephone, letter and electronically.
2. Prioritise all correspondence, emails and enquiries and ensure the Director is made aware of matters requiring immediate attention. Where appropriate, initiate actions demonstrating a high level of judgement around confidentiality and priorities, without reference to the Directors.
3. Arrange meetings, appointments, travel (local and foreign) and organise events for the Directors.

- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- Secretarial qualifications including RSA 3 or equivalent word processing / evidence of continuous learning
- European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent
- Experience of working unsupervised with responsibility for managing own work
- Recent experience of working with senior management level within a large and complex organisation
- Computer literacy and good understanding of digital software including Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience of working as a PA to board members or equivalent
- An understanding of the Freedom of Information Ac
- Well practiced secretarial skills
- Able to contribute immediately to the work of the trust by establishing personal and professional credibility
- Confident communicator capable of communicating at all levels of the organisation, with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to understand and translate complex information clearly
