We’re looking for experienced Fibre Jointers (Splicer) to join our telecoms team based in Glasgow. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the Virgin Media network.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £17 per hour (Pending Experience)
Responsibilities
As an experienced Fibre Jointer (Splicer), working on the Virgin Media contract in Glasgow Scotland. You will be responsible for
- Undertaking underground /overhead Jointing (Splicing)
- Testing and repair of optical fibre cables
Who are we looking for?
The role of experienced Fibre Jointer is great for you if you have Fibre Jointing experience (Ideally in the openreach network)
- Hold a full driving licence with less than 3 points
- Experience working with job packs and the ability to read FNC’s
- Ability to Splice and test external CBT (Toggle testing)
- Able to strip and prepare and instable fibre cables
- Relevant accreditations to be valid for a minimum of 4 months (demonstratable via Smart Awards)
